Yesterday the hubs and I drove into JB to choose our album layout. We were pretty disciplined about choosing our photos, as a result we only had 13 pages for our photo album, but we were okay with that.
So we were shown the photoshopped touch ups and edits, the "designer" did a good job actually. Though certain portions he did overdo it a little. So we were asked to look through the photos, and let the girl (Vicky) know which parts we still want the designer to work on. She will bring it to the designer and let him edit it on the spot and come back with the edited version 2. So this went back and forth until we were both quite happy with the photos. :)
After that we had to select the cover photo for our album, a table standee of our photo, the photos we want on the 80 small cards included in the package, a poster standee, our big frame and photo and a long version photo and a coffee table photo. So all in all, the package included:
- 80 small photos (namecard size) that you can give to your friends/relatives
- Actual photo album
- Coffee table album (smaller version of actual photo album)
- an A4 size ( or slightly bigger maybe) photo that can be displayed at the reception table or wherever
- Poster
- A long photo that can be mounted on to the wall
- the usual big one you hang at your bed
We were so overwhelmed we almost wanted to forgo some of those things! Anyway the whole process took about 2 hours. In the end we were quite satisfied with our choices.

I told Vicky about my plans to rent dresses in Singapore. I think my distress was obvious to her and the fact that the hubs and I were not very pleased about this.
Vicky immediately went to find dresses for me to try, dresses that I didn't get to try the last time round because they were taken out of the bridal studio by other brides that day. So after checking that these dresses are available on my actual day, she let me try and I managed to select 1 bridal gown and 1 evening gown which were both much nicer than my previous selection.
The hubs also managed to find a jacket that fitted him well. I must say we both left Destino yesterday very satisfied customers. I really must commend on Vicky's patience and the fact that she remained cheerful and chirpy throughout our various requests and demands.
