The first formula milk we ever gave our baby was Similac Total Comfort. The hubs felt that since it costs so much it must be good! We also weren't sure what suited our baby so it seemed like a good choice as it was supposed to be gentle on the stomach.
Alas, it gave my baby dark green poop! We were scared shitless (pardon the pun) and the PD (Paediatrician) said it was due to too much iron that the baby is unable to digest fully. Though the PD did say it wasn't much to worry about but still.
Given its hefty price tag ($67+ per tin from NTUC) it was annoying to find out that it wasn't suiting my baby well.
We switched formula after baby finished that first tin. Next review will be on S-26 Gold.
